"Carat" is the internationally recognised unit in which the weight of a diamond or gemstone is measured. One carat corresponds to exactly 200 milligrams or 0.2 grams. Accordingly, a 5-carat diamond weighs 1 gram. The diamond of your choice weighs carats and measures approx. 6.50 - 6.54 x 3.99 mm.

Ein Diamant der Reinheitsstufe „VS2“ weist so deutliche Einschlüsse unter 10-facher Vergrößerung auf, dass sie sogar für das bloße Augen erkennbar sein können. Die Einschlüsse sind größer oder zahlreicher als bei VS1-Diamanten und besonders leicht erkennbar, wenn sie sich auf größeren Diamanten oder offenen Facetten befinden. Dennoch bieten VS2-Diamanten noch immer eine beeindruckende Klarheit und Brillanz bei einer guten Balance zwischen Preis und Qualität.

Cut:

The cut of a diamond determines the brilliance, i.e. how strongly a diamond sparkles. The cut is therefore not, as is often confused, the shape of the stone. The cut quality is determined on the basis of three criteria: Polish (polish), symmetry (symmetry) and the cut proportions. For some cut shapes, the "cut grade" value also counts. If a diamond is cut too shallow or deep, it loses brilliance due to fewer reflections on the side facets.
