"Carat" is the internationally recognised unit in which the weight of a diamond or gemstone is measured. One carat corresponds to exactly 200 milligrams or 0.2 grams. Colour: H

The "H" colour level is the fifth best of all achievable colour qualities. Diamonds with an IGI colour grade of H appear completely white or colourless at first glance. Only when they are directly compared with diamonds of higher colour grades does their deviation become clear. Within colour grade H, colourless diamonds and diamonds with a slight colouring are distinguishable from each other. As a result, this colour grade is very popular. It should be noted that some diamonds classified as "H" by the IGI are comparable with colour grade I according to the GIA.

Clarity: VS1

Diamonds of purity grade "VS1" have small inclusions that are visible under 10x magnification, but appear barely detectable to the naked eye. They hardly affect the appearance of the diamond, which makes VS1 diamonds an excellent choice for anyone who values a good balance between clarity and price.

Cut:

The cut of a diamond determines the brilliance, i.e. how strongly a diamond sparkles. The cut is therefore not, as is often confused, the shape of the stone. The cut quality is determined on the basis of three criteria: Polish (polish), symmetry (symmetry) and the cut proportions. For some cut shapes, the "cut grade" value also counts. If a diamond is cut too shallow or deep, it loses brilliance due to fewer reflections on the side facets.
