Sie bewegen sich in der höchsten Kategorie „colorless“. Der Farbunterschied zum höchsten Grad ist nur für professionelle Gemmolog:innen im Vergleich mit Mustersteinen erkennbar. Diamanten der Farbstufe „E“ zählen damit zu den wertvollsten Exemplaren, was die Farbe angeht.

Clarity: VVS1

Diamanten der Reinheitsstufe „VVS1“ weisen lediglich winzige Einschlüsse auf, die selbst unter 10-facher Vergrößerung äußerst schwer erkennbar sind. Die Einschlüsse nehmen nur minimalen Einfluss auf die Brillanz und den Wert des Diamanten, da sie sich meist am Rand befinden – für das bloße Auge in der Regel unsichtbar. Diamanten der Stufe VVS1 gelten daher noch immer als besonders rein.

Cut:

The cut of a diamond determines the brilliance, i.e. how strongly a diamond sparkles. The cut is therefore not, as is often confused, the shape of the stone. The cut quality is determined on the basis of three criteria: Polish (polish), symmetry (symmetry) and the cut proportions. For some cut shapes, the "cut grade" value also counts. If a diamond is cut too shallow or deep, it loses brilliance due to fewer reflections on the side facets.
